Hello Folks,

I need your help with the IPC set up with the ECC. Currently IPC is installed in the VMC in ECC 6.0 Idea is to set up the IPC to work with the ERP KMAT materials. FOllowing set up is done and working in IPC - 1) RFC destination to ECC is set up and working(ping successful) 2) JCO RfC provider is set up and working.

But when I log into XCM administrator tool with administrator user(it has sap_j2ee_admin event access) I am not able to edit or configure anything. I don't see any changes while trying to edit standard SAP configuratios. Also while I click  on JCo or erp components, I am getting following Java Compilation error.

Hello Folks,

I am getting a compilation error while I try to set up JCo parameters in the XCM admin tool. The log says compilation error. I am not sure what could be the issue. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Partha Gopalan

SAP CRM HR requests and Inbound number ranges

Hi Experts ,

I wanted to know where are the number range setups for the below two objects:

Inbound Emails:

Emails.JPG

HR requests(This is nothing but a custom Z service order , table CRMC_PROC_TYPE):

HR request.JPG

HR request type.JPG

Basically wanted to know how/from where the number ranges can be re-set for these two object types.

Incoming Email scenario for non-registered customers

Hello Experts,

I am new to CRM CIC and configuring the Incoming Email scenario. I have a few queries around the process.

I would like to confirm what will happen to the creation of Inbound email transaction in CRM when a customer is not registered with us.

Lets say a customer is not registered with the CIC and not created as BP in CRM. Now he has a query and he sends an e-mail to CIC incoming email address. What will happen to such a query. Will it be created as an Inbound email transaction and start appearing in Inbox.

What will be populated in the account field when this BP does not exist in CRM.

How do you handle such case in your systems. Appreciate any responses.

Thanks

Anuj

Manage custom event in Web IC from WEBSERVICE

Good morning All,

My requirement is to raise a custom event when a record in an custom table is filled up (this custom table is filled by an SAP WebService called from external software) and after intercept this custom event to open a new BSP page in main CRMCMP_IC_FRAME automatically, without any input by the customer.

This article explains how develop a custom event, how raise and how intercept in the CRMCMP_IC_FRAME/HiddenView: http://blog.acorel.nl/2011/07/influencing-interaction-center-with-ic.html

The article explain how  raise events  in the CRM instance framework (one instance for every user), instead in my requirement I need to RAISE the event in an WEBSERVICE and intercept it in every Instance of framework (every user).

It is possibile to do that?

Alternatevely I would like to use the same concept of the flashing button when a call is incoming.. To do that I think there is a kind of "listener" that wait the incoming call and starts to flash the button  to receive the call. I think that If I'll be able to reproduce this code, I can create a "listner" to data change in a table.

It 's possibile do that?

Many thanks

Marco

Hi,

I have created a broadcast message as per my requirement but it is not being shown instantly as I create it through IC_MANAGER.

It is reflected when I refresh the page or re-login to my CRM webui screen.

Please suggest how can the message be made instantly visible as it is send through the IC_MANAGER.

phone number concatenates extensions

Hello Experts

Im having a problem in the Interaction Center when I'm doing a call list. What happens is that for example I have a BP witho a phone number and an extension

and then when I create a campaing with the call list channel and sincronice it with BCM the phone and the extension gets concatenated causing an error when BCM tries to dial that number

I found a note refering to this problem

722937 - Unable to dial phone number concatenated with extension

where it says that the Class 'CL_TM_APP_CLM_AGENT' with the method 'DIAL_TELEPHONE_NUMBER' should be modified to:

*>>>> START OF DELETION <<<<<

CONCATENATE Telephone-Telephone Telephone-Extension INTO lv_Telephone.

*>>>> END OF DELETION <<<<<<<

*>>>> START OF INSERTION <<<<

lv_Telephone = Telephone-Telephone.

*>>>> END OF INSERTION <<<<<<

However once this change is done, and I create a new campaign and sincronice it once more with BCM, its still dialing the number with the extension. I´ve tried placing a breakpoint on this class

but when it sincronices with BCM it doesn´t stops here

Any idea if theres another class or method that should be modified to achieve that BCM dials only the phone numero and not the phone number + extension?

Making Categorization mandatory on End button before the interaction is closed

Hello Experts

Below are the details of the issue we are facing in current SAP IC and Genesys integration. Our scenario is when the agent is connected with client over the call, we need to make categorization as Hard stop for the user, they should not able to 'End' the interaction record, till the time categorization is maintained in the interaction record.

Agent should maintain all Mandatory fields on interaction record and save IR before clicking on End Button.

I could see many posts for this requirement and implemented by setting VETO, but unfortunately its (Setting VETO) not helping in my scenario. The reason is our flow like this - As soon as Agent clicks on 'Hang UP' button agent work mode is getting changed to 'Wrap up' during this mode agent maintains all required data on IR. But if Agent does not maintain mandatory fields on IR and click on 'End' button work mode is getting changed immediately to 'Not Ready'. And call is concluded on Genesys side. In this case when we set VETO in method IF_CRM_IC_PREPARE_FOR_CALLBACK~EXECUTE only stops IR saving. But as Agent mode is getting set by javascript we cannot control that. if VETO is set to true then agent work mode should not change from Wrap up to ‘Not Ready’ on End button. So we can send call result values to Genesys based on Categorization.

Can you please let me know how to deal with mandatory fields as well as Agent work mode together?

SAP CRM for Car Manufacturing Company

Hi Champs,

My client is car manufacturing company and they are willing for SAP CRM Implementation independently for following scenarios:

  • Customer maintenance and complete data tracking of each customer (Customer will be the owner of the Honda car)

  • Services/Maintenance record of each car

  • CRM access will be given to dealer so that they can do data entry and maintain record of each car.

  • No financial link of SAP CRM with SAP Financials since money will be given to the dealer and they don't want to track that.

Looking forward for all of your cooperation.

Thanks

SAP CRM 7.0- IC Automaitc Number Identification issue

Hello All,

We are currently facing problem in automatic account identification in SAP CRM IC webclient. (connested with external CTI vendor).

When inbound call comes system displays number for eg. +011223232, if we store telephone number with BP, 011223232, system says no account identifies, but if we store number with +011223232 system identifes the account.

As per our understanding, + should not be maintained with telephone or mobile number in BP master data as system gives warning.

So what is possible problem, is it related to CTI problem or something worng in SAP configuration...

Ithanks in advance..

Email Escalations going right away - ERMS

Hi All Experts,

We have configured ERMS to escalate mails to manager if they were unattended for 48 hours, we followed the steps from the thread 1091860 ERMS Workitem ID,  and also the best practises. The problem is that Escalations are going to the managers RIGHT away when the mail is sent, they are supposed to go after 48 hours if not attended.

I've seen that the thread which I referred to quite old, so i am kind of thinking that there may be some new fixes for this issue. we are on CRM7.0 EHP1

Thanks and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tables for Multilevel Categorization selected in the Transactions

$

Hello guys,

We are using CRM 2007 IC Web Client. I have set up Multilevel Categorization with 2 levels for Service Orders

Level 1: Motivo

Level 2: Central

When creating a Service Order, I choose both Level 1 and Level 2. And I want to know in which table I can find the both Levels I selected for each Service Order. I mean, I do not need the table with the categories (which I customized in the Rule Modeler)....I need the transactional table where I can find the Service Order ID and the Levels which were selected.

I performed a trace and I found a  the table CRMD_SRV_SUBJECT. However it only shows me the Level 2 for each Service Order and this has some logic because if I check in the GUI (by using transaction CRMD_ORDER) the service order I created in the IC Web, it only shows me One Level and it corresponds to the Level 2.

I hope you can help me!

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

We are planning to implement chat functionality in our IC. Our CSC agents use IC interface, but end users use portal interface as front end. Is it possible for an end user to initiate chat from portal so that agent will be able to pick it up from their agent inbox?

Any pointers will be helpful!!

SAP CRM call recording file from BCM

Hi there Experts,

We receive from BCM system CAD with Call recording file name. Unfortunately, this link is not visible anymore after contact end (in interaction record, contact history etc.)

1.png

The only possible place is transaction history of created interaction record, but I am not quite sure if this link correspond to the actual call record.

The question is – where we can see exact file name (as it is in CAD), but after contact end?

Email Campaign fails to send with form due to Contact not permitted (block BP)

Hi

I have managed to create a campaign with 1 bp in the target group. I start the process and the job runs perfectly.

My email system is already running and I can send emails fro the email workcentre thru sapconnect to the outside world.

When I look at the campaign report (Marketing contact list) I have 2 entries for the campaign id

one entry says Contact achieved and the relevant mailform and business partner and the line

underneath says Contact not permitted (Block Indicator for BP).

I don't receive the email as nothing is sent out and there aren't any blocks on the BP.

I am using SAP CRM 7.0 ehp2

I have seen an old note 656403 which has obviously been applied.

Can anyone help - I'm sure if this block error goes then all will be well.

Thanks

Mail Forms: Inconsistencies with images

$

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on a project where we have to use mail forms for outbound email communication. My challenge is that we need to include signature images in the emails (of which we did using the Insert Picture button in the mail form as below).

Insert Picture Butto.png

These pictures are then saved in our content server, however when an agent sends an email within the same network using one of the mail forms that has got a picture inserted, it appears with a red cross in outlook and you have to right-click and download to see it. If it's outside the organization's network, a red cross is also displayed instead of the picture, but in this case it doesn't allow you to download.

We would like for the image to be displayed without the receipient downloading it or changing their "auto-download" settings.

Outbound emails are also sent out as auto-replies. For these kind of emails, the pictures show without the user having to do anything (in or outside the organization).

I've tried a couple of tricks, but clearly this is not an issue of the content server not being available publicly since auto-reply emails have the image correctly displayed.

Any ideas of what I might be dealing with here or missing? Let me know if you need anymore information.

Thank you!

Brian

Hello *,

I did not find any SAP information about approved/supported telephone systems.

I assume not all available systems are compatible with SAP CRM (Interaction Center).

Thanks for the support in advance.
